Tristram Northland is one of Northland's largest multi franchised car dealerships, representing Volkswagen, MG, Nissan, Hyundai, Isuzu, Renault. We have an excellent opportunity for a General Sales Manager to join our team.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales team. This role is responsible for overseeing the sales department, including the management of our used vehicle inventory. If you are a proactive leader with a passion for the automotive industry, we’d love to hear from you! This role is salary based, Circa $150k OTE and a company vehicle. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of brand managers and sales staff to achieve sales targets
    Oversee the used vehicle department, ensuring inventory is well-managed and sales opportunities are maximized
    Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue in the used vehicle department
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management
    Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop campaigns that align with sales objectives
    Maintain excellent customer relationships and handle escalations when needed

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in a sales management role, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to analyse sales data and implement effective strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of used vehicle market trends and inventory management
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
